Alvarez has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alvarez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Alvarez is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alvarez down to the mat. Alvarez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #TD2#
Alvarez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Alvarez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gracie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alvarez is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #T2##SUB2#
Gracie swings around for an armbar but Alvarez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.#SUB2#
Gracie has his feet on Alvarez's thighs here. He's pushed Alvarez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Alvarez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
