Barkov swats away the attempt to clinch by Howler.

Barkov thuds his right hand into Howler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Viktor Barkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howler closes the distance and clinches up with Barkov, looking for a takedown. Howler pushes Barkov against the cage but Barkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Barkov lands a nice hook to Howler's body. Howler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Howler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Howler has managed to get both his arms back between Barkov's legs - danger averted.
