Kolfe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Michaels tries to avoid it but Kolfe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Michaels to the ground. Michaels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mark Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sadam Kolfe.
Michaels lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Michaels cracks Kolfe with a good jab.

and Michaels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kolfe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Michaels defends well and Kolfe ends up having to push Michaels into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kolfe leaves his chin hanging out and Michaels seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kolfe crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

A relieved looking Mark Michaels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
