Allen prevents Tang from getting back to his feet.

Tang is looking to stand up but Allen isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1#
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Allen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Allen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tang's guard.
Tang pushes Allen off looking to stand but Allen dives back in and keeps control.
Allen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tang's head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Allen in particular looking to stall.
Allen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB#
Allen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tang is just riding it out for now. Allen eventually gives up the hold. #T2#
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Allen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tang counters with a series of strikes. Allen will be more careful next time no doubt.

Allen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tang has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Tang sneaks out the side door and pushes Allen away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Allen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Allen is in Tang's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wu Tang will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tang jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Allen walks away with a smile on his face. Tang gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Allen controlling the position well here. Tang rolled but Allen kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Allen is looking to control Tang but Tang is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Allen is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Tang is defending well though. Allen let's go of the attempt for now.
Allen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tang has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Allen is on him like a limpet, forcing Tang back against the cage.
