Souza throws a right and a left that Kidd avoids nicely.
A little jabbing left from Kidd on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Souza on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kidd counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've been hearing reports that Hamed has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Nice defenses there by Killer.
Killer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Killer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kidd is able to avoid easily.
Killer misses with a left hand
and Kidd counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Killer thinking.
Kidd lands a lovely overhand right.
Killer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Killer drops his hands momentarily. Kidd doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Killer staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Killer doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Kidd looks to land a combination. Hernandez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hernandez is looking to clinch but Kidd is avoiding it.
Kidd is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Hernandez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
William Kidd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
