Stolpe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters circle momentarily. Holmes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Holmes misses with a straight left.
Holmes blocks a head kick by Stolpe.
Stolpe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Holmess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Holmes throws a counter combo.
Stolpe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Holmes misses with the combination.
Holmes thows a left - swing and a miss!
It looked like Stolpe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Holmes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Holmes loads up on a big right hand but Stolpe slips the punch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Stolpe! Holmes is out on his feet! Stolpe rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Holmes is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Holmes is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Stolpe's temple.

and Adams counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stolpe tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. #SUB#
Adams is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Stolpe is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Stolpe flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Adams anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Stolpe and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Adams slips an arm under Stolpe chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Adams has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Adams is squeezing on Stolpe like an anaconda would it's prey. Stolpe fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
