Guerrero closes the distance and clinches up with Jab, looking for a takedown. Guerrero pushes Jab against the cage but Jab circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Eddie Guerrero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guerrero's coach down at Temp Spar Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Guerrero's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#TD2#

and Jab counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Sokhela. That snapped Jab's head back.

Sokhela tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jab is able to avoid easily.

Jab has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Jab lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A nice side step and Jab releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Jab finds Whitley's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Whitley flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jab lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Whitley will be OK.
