He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Murrizzo looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cormier can't hide his disappointment, as Murrizzo celebrates the victory.

Singh darts in looking for a takedown but Cormier gets double underhooks and turns Singh into the cage.

Singh is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cormier cracks Singh with a nice body shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Singh tries to land a front kick but Cormier steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Cormier smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Pearsons to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Cormier jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
