Mcallister feints a jab promting King to slip. Mcallister then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. King slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2#

and Kickpuncher counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. King is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've been informed that King has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
King rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kickpuncher counters with a good low kick that King was not able to check.
Kickpuncher thows a body kick. King tries to catch it but that hurt him.
King throws an off balance right hand
and Kickpuncher counters with a thumping low kick.
Kickpuncher keeps King at a distance using the push kick.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kickpuncher makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
James King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
King throws a right hand that Li ducks under and follows up with a left that Li also avoids with ease.#TD#
Li decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#SUB#
Li looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Li stops King from getting back to his feet.
King tries to get to full guard but Li has control of the leg.
