Boyka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Boyka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boyka just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromYang.
Boyka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yang tries to avoid it but Boyka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yang to the ground. Yang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yang appears to be looking for a big counter.#TD#
Yang drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boyka has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Yang has passed into side control.
Yang remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Yang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boyka takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well. #T1#
Boyka looks to move to half guard but instead Yang has passed into mount! Damn!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boyka can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kasamsun stuffs the takedown.
Kasamsun looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Boyka takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.#KD2#
Kasamsun lands a big right hand that sends Boyka crashing to the mat! Kasamsun stays standing though and waves Boyka back to his feet!#ROC2#
Boyka is rocked!
Kasamsun lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Boyka up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kasamsun from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Boyka's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Irong Kasamsun!

Punyawong scores with a hook to the body. Boyka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boyka is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Punyawong paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#TD#
Boyka drives through with a takedown into Punyawong's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Boyka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #SU#
Boyka gets to his feet. Punyawong looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! #TD#

Punyawong lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though. #TD#
Boyka feints and as Punyawong raises his hands in defense, Boyka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SU#
Boyka stands and steps away. Punyawong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Punyawong throws a right and a left that both miss.

Boyka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Boyka slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Punyawong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Boyka stands up and waves to Punyawong to follow him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boyka is defended easily by Punyawong.

Boyka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SU#

Boyka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Punyawong manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cabasa Punyawong will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boyka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Punyawong pinned against the cage. Punyawong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh Boyka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punyawong scores with a shot to the body.

Punyawong cracks Boyka with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Boyka looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Punyawong finish him?
Punyawong fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Boyka square on the jaw! Damn, Boyka is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
