Leonard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chapo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Leonard is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chapo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Chapo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Tony Chapo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kawhi Leonard.
Chapo leaves Leonard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Leonard get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Leonard stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Chapo runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Leonard misses with a takedown
and Chapo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT#
It looks like Kawhi Leonard has been cut.
Chapo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leonard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kawhi Leonard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chapo lands with a straight right. Leonard didn't see that one coming.
Chapo misses with a two punch combination. #CL#
Chapo rushes Leonard and presses him up against the cage.
Chapo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Leonards head.
Leonard tries to score a body lock takedown but Chapo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leonard has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
