Khan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fletcher tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Khan is in Fletcher's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

An out of breath Dro Qanar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Yeke Khan was interviewed post fight and said 'I want to apologize to my fans. That wasn't the performance I wanted to have. I think I need some time off to sharpen my skills, but I'll be back with a fire in my heart! And I'll be coming for that belt!'.

Markus getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Markus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Markus bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Khan's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Markus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheers as Markus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Khan doesn't seem phased though.#CL2#
Khan tries to keep at a distance but Markus has taken the fight into the clinch.
Markus lands an elbow that stopped Khan in his tracks for a moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Markus has Khan pressed against the cage. He pushes Khan back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Markus throws a beautiful elbow that sends Khan crashing to the floor! Markus piles on the pressure with more strikes! Khan is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Winston Markus bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

and Khan counters with a series of strikes. Arfah will be more careful next time no doubt.

Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
