Cutting gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zulu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cutting knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zulu on the ground.
Cutting is looking to stand up but Zulu isn't so interested in that idea.

Let's hope that Zulu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zulu is pushing down on Cutting's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cutting is fighting to maintain full guard but Zulu has managed to sneak the leg through.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zulu connects with a nice short shot to Cutting's temple. #CUT2#

In his post fight interview, Shaka Zulu started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
