Excellent takedown into side control there by Carver.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frederick is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Frederick is trying to escape the position but Carver is controlling the position.
Frederick tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Carver wants to stand but Frederick has his arm trapped.
Frederick on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carver tries to stand but Frederick is controlling his head.
Carver moves into full mount!
Frederick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Carver is looking to stand but Frederick has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Carver takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carver is landing with some decent strikes but Frederick is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Frederick is working to get back to half guard.
Frederick takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Carver's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
