Chapo cracks Wong on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wong falls backwards against the cage. Chapo follows up with more strikes that drop Wong to his knees. Chapo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wong! This one is all over!

Wong drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Wong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mello napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wong throws a strike aimed at the side of Mello's head but Mello avoids it well.
Mello gets back to half guard.
Wong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
It looks like Wong is going to stand back up.
Mello regains full guard. Nicely done.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mello looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mello loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Wong scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mello land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mello stands and salutes the crowd.
