Ward lands a lovely overhand right.
Nomad tried to score with a low kick but Ward checks it.
Ward's coach down at 3Band MMA ($800/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ward's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nomad tries to close the distance and clinch but Ward swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nomad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ward circles away quickly and effectively.
A little jabbing left from Ward on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

We've been told by Nomad's head coaches at Blanc Fitness Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
