One's coaches at Doc Dannis Death Squad have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

One blocks an elbow strike.
One swings wildly with an uppercut but Chartrand uses good head movement to avoid it. #BC#

Chartrand takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#CUT2#
It looks like Dustin Chartrand has been cut.
One throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shaw tries for a takedown but One circles away easily
and One counters with a stiff right hand.
One tries to clinch but Shaw moves out of range.
One has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Shaw is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Shaw plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
One throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts One as he jumps to the side.
Shaw misses with an attempted mid kick.
One looks like he wants to counter punch here.
One scores with a nice body kick.
Shaw throws a sloppy head kick and One moves out of range easily.
One closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Shaw! One dives in looking to finish! Shaw is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). One One!

Tyson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. One sprawls well initially but Tyson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
One really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, if Tyson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
