We've been told by Wood's head coaches at Iron mikes mma that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Billy lands a jab to Wood's midsection.
Billy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wood is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Wood is breathing heavily.
Wood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wood falls off balance throwing a combination

It appears Jones was looking to counter with a kick there.

Jones keeps Wood at a distance using the push kick.
Wood misses with a body shot.
Jones cracks the inside of Wood's front leg.
Jones throws a shot to the body.

A combination from Manson does no damage.
Wood fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Manson on the side of the head.
Wood slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Manson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Wood steps in with a hook that catches Manson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Wood follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Manson looks absolutely devastated.

Fuentes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wood.

It looks like Ben Wood has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wood drops his hands momentarily and Fuentes needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Wood just on the top of the head. Wood drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Wood - he's done!

Wood walks straight into a right hand from Wellwood - that's dropped him! Wellwood jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Wood from any more punishment! Wood complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
