Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 5158 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ashworth (ranked 6759 p4p, 0 weight class). James Ashworth told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; James Ashworth!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

Stark is pressing down on Ashworth's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ashworth is holding on for now.
Ashworth is looking for a sweep. Stark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stark is working for a kimura but Ashworth is defending it quite comfortably.

Stark is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ashworth is just riding it out for now. Stark eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stark is working for a submission of some sort.

Ashworth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stark is working away from the top position though.

Stark in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ashworth tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Stark!

Ashworth drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ashworth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2#
Fergunson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ashworth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fergunson is tightening it up a little... Ashworth has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ashworth reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ashworth taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fergunson!

No luck for Dude Guy with that takedown attempt.
Dude Guy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ashworth defends well and Dude Guy ends up having to push Ashworth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Ashworth counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tourney Dude Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ashworth in particular looking to stall.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ashworth lands a nice short elbow.
Dude Guy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ashworth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ashworth looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Ashworth perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ashworth is nestled in close to Dude Guy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ashworth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ashworth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dole tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dole wants to get back to his feet.
Dole is trying to control Ashworth's posture but Ashworth avoids it.
Sloppy strikes there by Ashworth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
