Higati misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shitatake lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Higati has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Higati and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shitatake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Higati.
A big right from Higati misses.
Shitatake blocks a low kick nicely.
Shitatake looks to land a left hand but Higati moved out of range nicely.

Shitatake throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pete was covering up waiting for the punch and Shitatake finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Shitatake throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pete works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Shitatake sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Shitatake postures up in Pete's guard and throws a big left but Pete blocks it.
Pete will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close second round but I would say that Saint Pete will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Taki Shitatake.
Well Shitatake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
