Ranger gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ranger is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Loot is defending well for now.
Loot is trying to break the clinch but Ranger has him pressed against the cage.
Loot tries to circle away but Ranger has him pinned against the cage.#TD#
Ranger manages to pull guard.
Ranger pulls Loot in to control the position.
Ranger seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.#SUB#
Loot wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ranger's closed guard. He's half up but Ranger has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ranger pivots and extends the arm, Loot falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ranger! Well done that man!

Dempsey misses with a double jab.
Ranger slips a jab and a cross from Dempsey.
Nice sprawl there from Dempsey as Ranger shoots in.
A countering left hand to the body from Dempsey misses.
Dempsey thuds his right hand into Ranger's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#CL#
Ranger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dempsey, pushing him back against the cage.
Ranger drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dempsey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dempsey prevents a body shot from Ranger.
Ranger tries to work over Dempsey's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC#
Ranger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dempsey lands a body shot.
Dempsey misses with a series of wild punches.
Dempsey blocks a head kick by Ranger.

Ranger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ranger appears to be looking for a big counter.#CL#
Ranger rushes Dempsey and presses him up against the cage.
Dempsey tries to break free but Ranger pushes him back against the cage.
Ranger fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Game Ranger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dempsey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dempsey is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ranger has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dempsey after a bit of a struggle. #BC#
Ranger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ranger dives in for a single leg takedown but Dempsey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
As Ranger backs off Dempsey throws a huge counter combo but Ranger manages to avoid it all.
Dempsey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Ranger takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Ranger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ranger is breathing heavily.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Dempsey knocks Ranger out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Good standup being displayed there by Loot as he connects with a hook.
Ranger misses with a body shot. #TD#
Ranger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Loot's guard.
Ranger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ranger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Loot swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loot wants to hit a switch here but Ranger passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Loot there!
Ranger lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#T1#
Ranger lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ranger looking to control and managing it successfully.
Ranger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB#
Ranger is working for a guillotine from mount but Loot frees his head quite easily.
Ranger lands a couple of good shots and Loot has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#T2#

Ranger lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Loot is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ranger.

Loot closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Ranger out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Hyroz Loot decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
