Akimov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sin counters with a solid body kick. Aleksandr Akimov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL2# Sin gets a clinch. #TD2# Sin pulls guard. Sin managing to control the position. #ES2# Sin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Akimov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #CL# Akimov closes the distance and pushes Sin back into the cage. Sin is trying to force a seperation but Akimov has the dominant position. Akimov wants to get back to striking at distance but Sin won't allow it.
#TD2# Sin pulls Akimov into guard.
Akimov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sin on the ground.#T1# Sin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #ES2# Sin has his feet on Akimov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Akimov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sin was well out of range. Poor timing from Akimov.#TD2# Sin gets the takedown into side control. Akimov bucks up and tries to throw Sin off but instead Sin has got his back!#SUB2# Akimov won't enjoy being in this position. Sin looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Akimov is tapping - it's over boys! Sin picks up the submission victory!
