Gracie shoots for a takedown but Istvan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Istvan avoids it really well and circles away.
Istvan connects with the punch.
We've been told by Istvan's head coaches at Montreal Community Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Istvan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Istvan throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Istvan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Verekedos Istvan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Gracie.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Istvan sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gracie is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Istvan moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Alex Gracie (ranked 4476 p4p, 366 weight class) and Miguel Machin (ranked 4539 p4p, 0 weight class). Machin has chosen Pandora's Music Box as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Alex Gracie! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 5 losses; Miguel Machin!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
