Vape shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
Lewis tests Vape's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lewis connects with a looping right hand.
Johnny Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vape moves away.
Lewis misses with a body shot
and Vape counters with a series of strikes. Lewis will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lewis leaves Vape with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lewis scores with a hook to the body. Vape takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Vape changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but Vape manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wesley Vape. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Vape to the canvas! Vape doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lewis keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
