The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spankings darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Spankings seems to be working for a kimura but Majima defends the submission attempt.
Majima is trying to get back to full guard.
Spankings moves nicely into side control.
Spankings is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Majima is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Spankings has an Americana. Majima didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Spankings is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Spankings hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spankings shoots in looking for a takedown. Adebayo tries to sprawl out of it but Spankings keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adebayo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adebayo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Adebayo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spankings, pushing him back against the cage.
Spankings drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Spankings wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotsa Spankings. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adebayo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Adebayo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Spankings is trying to keep an underhook but Adebayo manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Adebayo trying to control the action but Spankings is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spankings looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Adebayo is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Spankings has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Adebayo is in a lot of trouble! Spankings is straining to finish and he's done it! Adebayo taps out! Amazing!

Spankings shoots for a double leg takedown but Jota sprawls well. He's pushed Spankings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Spankings defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jota.#TD#
Spankings shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jota manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.#ES2#
Jota pushes Spankings off and gets back to his feet.
Spankings closes the distance and clinches up with Jota, looking for a takedown. Spankings pushes Jota against the cage but Jota circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Spankings or perhaps it was just good defense by Jota, which made it look bad.
Jota unleashes a big counter combination but Spankings bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lotsa Spankings. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD#
Spankings throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jota was covering up waiting for the punch and Spankings finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Spankings is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jota is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Spankings wants to control from the top but Jota keeps moving.

Spankings thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB#
Spankings drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Spankings seems to have locked his on tight now - Jota screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Spankings, as he picks up the win!
