That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hector Sanchez.
Well Asakura has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Sanchez dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Sanchez's head and hops out.

Sanchez wants to counter with a clinch but Diaz pushes him away.
Sanchez takes one to the chin there.
Diaz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Diaz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kribbson Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Sanchez.

Diaz lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Diaz celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
