The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Junior moves away.
Junior stuffs the takedown.
Junior throws a nice looking combination but Blunt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blunt tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Blunt shoots in looking for a takedown. Junior tries to sprawl out of it but Blunt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Blunt has his takedown stuffed
and Junior counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Joe Junior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Blunt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Junior throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Blunt doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Junior counters with a huge left! Blunt is in big trouble! He's backing up but Junior isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Blunt from any more damage. A dominating finish by Junior!

A relieved looking Joe Junior thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |

Snow rushes Blunt and presses him up against the cage.
Blunt is looking to take this one to the mat.
Blunt can't get the takedown.
Blunt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A short uppercut from Snow.
Blunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Snow is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome Blunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snow tries to pull guard but Blunt forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Blunt dives in and grabs Roads's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roads pushes down on Blunt's head and hops out.

Blunt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roads as he avoids it easily. #TD#
