Davids on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kushnevich. Kushnevich obviously looking to wear him down.
Kushnevich with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kushnevich scores with a spinning back kick!
Kushnevich lands a nice looking kick to the body. Davids takes a step back to recover.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kushnevich - that will leave a mark!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davids is working to tighten his grip on Kushnevich's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kushnevich has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Davids is really squeezing tight and eventually Kushnevich passes out! Davids breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Then tries to clinch up.
Then fails to land the takedown.
Then shoots in looking for a takedown but Davids manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Then's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Davids throws a head kick that misses.
Then moves to clinch but Davids breaks away #TD2#
and Davids counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Then pushes Davids off but Davids dives into side control.
Then seems a little lost for a moment, as Davids dominates the positioning.#SU2#
Davids decides to stand back up.
Then lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Davids stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davids wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Okay Then. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davids looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Steve Gudmundsson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
