Berglund is working Jimbern over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Berglund gets to his feet and stands over Jimbern, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Jimbern felt that one! Berglund unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Jimbern from any more punishment!

Jimbern gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cristo regains guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jimbern has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cristo is proving hard to escape from.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jimbern working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#T1#

Jimbern is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jimbern hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dix enables Jimbern to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dix manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dix knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jimbern on the ground.
Dix wants to hit a switch here but Jimbern passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dix there! #SUB2#
Jimbern throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dix has his hands clasped together but Jimbern breaks the hold and Dix is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jimbern!
