Souza takes one on the chin but keeps coming. #CUT2#It looks like Heitor Souza has been cut.
Souza ducks right into an uppercut from Ishmael. #KD2#
Ishmael drops Souza with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Souza looks back up at him and smiles so Ishmael waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed. #ROC2#Souza is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ishmael engages and cracks Souza with a massive lead left hook - Souza tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ishmael is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Ishmael!
John Ishmael seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Souza closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Loud's guard.
Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Loud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB#
Souza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Souza wants to pass the guard but Loud is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB#
Souza drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Souza seems to have locked his on tight now - Loud screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Souza, as he picks up the win!

A very excited looking Heitor Souza rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Souza works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harris is looking to improve his position.

Souza takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bean moves out of range of the strikes.

Souza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Souza moves out of range as Bean strikes.
Bean ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bean lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bean enables Souza to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bean manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Heitor Souza spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Souza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rodd moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rodd looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Vig lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Vig throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Souza tries to bum rush Vig with a series of wild strikes but Vig uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alf Vig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vig listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vig pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Vig. That snapped Souza's head back.
Souza gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Souza throws an off balance right hand
and Vig counters with a nice body shot.
Vig bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vig slips under a jab.

Vig scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Souza doesn't seem bothered though.
Vig has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Souza throws a wild body kick that Vig sees coming a mile off.
Vig lunges at Souza with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Souza's hand.
Souza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Souza throws a solid leg kick but Vig takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Souza.

Vig cracks Souza with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Souza tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vig pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Souza is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
