Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Perry, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perry slips under a jab from Lesnar. Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lesnar looks to throw the jab but Perry is out of range. A slow jab from Lesnar misses its intended target. A swing and a miss from Lesnar. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar throws a jab when Perry was well out of range. A big left from Lesnar misses. Lesnar moves into range and connects with a jab. Perry drops his hands momentarily. Lesnar doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Perry staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Perry doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
