The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis shoots for a double leg takedown but M Boundi sprawls well. He's pushed Pettis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pettis fails with the takedown
and M Boundi counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT#It looks like Anthony Pettis has been cut.
Pettis shoots and misses
and M Boundi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Achoo M Boundi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Pettis.
Pettis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting M Boundi counter with a right hand.
M Boundi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pettis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts M Boundi as he jumps to the side.

M Boundi lands a brutal uppercut that launches Pettis off his feet! Pettis tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

M Boundi needs to keep his hands up - Tsavieva had a free shot at his head there.
Tsavieva swings widly with a right hand
and M Boundi counters with a stiff right hand.
Tsavieva lands a nice shot that snaps M Boundi's head back.
Tsavieva falls off balance throwing a combination
and M Boundi counters with a nice uppercut.
M Boundi staying out of range there.
M Boundi misses the body punch
letting Tsavieva counter with a right hand.
Tsavieva lands a really nice looking cross but M Boundi seems unphased.
Tsavieva misses with a right hand

Tsavieva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of M Boundi's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tsavieva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looked like M Boundi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tsavieva is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! M Boundi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Tsavieva circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops M Boundi to the canvas! M Boundi doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tsavieva keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Danouras.
M Boundi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Danouras.
Danouras slips under a jab from M Boundi.
Danouras scores with a nice right hand.
M Boundi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Danouras misses with a head kick.
It looked like M Boundi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
M Boundi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
M Boundi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Danouras has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for M Boundi.
