The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Pukki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And Pukki tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Pukki misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kyle Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jalmar Pukki.
Lee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lee.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pukki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Pukki's legs - danger averted.

Lee is just content to waste time from the top position. Pukki takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Let's hope that Pukki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Pukki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pukki has Lee in his guard.

As Pukki backs away, Lee returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Pukki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pukki showed some decent athleticism there.

Kyle Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pukki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kyle Lee.
Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rummy misses the shot to the body.
Pukki fails with a takedown attempt.

Rummy has Pukki up against the cage in a clinch.
Rummy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knees to the body from Rummy.
Pukki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rummy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pukki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Rummy lands an elbow inside.
Rummy creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pukki's defenses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pukki tries to score a body lock takedown but Rummy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Pukki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rummy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rummy shrugs it off.

Pukki has hold of Rummy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rummy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pukki is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Rummy is forced to tap! Great finish!

Ben knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pukki on the ground.
