Excellent takedown into side control there by Younger.
Younger works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Younger creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hooper looks to move to half guard but instead Younger has passed into mount! Damn!

Hooper has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Younger should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hooper has tightened it up now! Younger should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Younger avoids the head kick by Golod.
A little feinted left hand from Younger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Younger forces Golod back against the cage and clinches.

Younger gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Golod is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Younger dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Younger looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Golod covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
