Rodd is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Suarez has escaped the position, nice work there.

Rodd is working to tighten his grip on Suarez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Suarez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rodd is really squeezing tight and eventually Suarez passes out! Rodd breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Vig thuds his shin into the meat of Suarez's side.
Vig has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Suarez loads up on a big right hand but Vig slips the punch.
Suarez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vig connects with a crisp jab.
Suarez cracks Vig with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vig connects with a single shot there.
Vig throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Vig tests Suarez's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Suarez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vig.
Vig takes a swing at Suarez's ribcage but misses.
Vig lands a head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vig ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suarez moves away.
Suarez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Suarez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Vig lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Suarez up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Vig from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Suarez's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Alf Vig decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Suarez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bean has an Americana. Suarez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bean is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bean hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Lucroy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.#TD#
Excellent takedown into side control there by Lucroy.
Suarez tries to bench press Lucroy off him but Lucroy keeps the position.
Lucroy in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Lucroy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Suarez down.
Suarez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lucroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lucroy scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Suarez is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Lucroy can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Rulla lunges at Suarez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Suarez's hand.
Rulla swings for the body but Suarez moves out of range.
Suarez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Kana Rulla has been cut.
Carlos Suarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rulla looks to score with a jab to the body but Suarez is just out of range.
Rulla throws a jab but it's blocked by Suarez.
Rulla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Suarez cracks Rulla with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
