Sharp working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Facino has passed into half guard!

Facino decides to return to a standing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Facino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Sharp counter with a right hand.
Sharp has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Facino finds it's way round the side to connect with Sharp's head.
Facino has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#TD#
Sharp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Facino looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sharp has picked Facino up and slammed him! Facino can't keep hold of the triangle and Sharp manages to pass to side control!

Sharp working the strikes but Facino uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Sharp is just content to waste time from the top position. Facino takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Sharp trying to control the position from guard on top but Facino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sharp is looking to work some ground and pound but Facino has wrist control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Facino has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sharp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB2#
Facino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sharp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sharp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sharp is sitting in close to Facino's body. Facino has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sharp is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sharp is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Facino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Biden throws a shot from downtown. Sharp moves away and avoids it.
Sharp misses the jab.
It seemed like Biden was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sharp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sharp throws a leg kick
and Biden connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Biden pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sharp pivots, looking for a leg kick but Biden is out of range and Sharp settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharp misses with a takedown
and Biden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Biden scores with a decent looking hook.
Sharp is rocked!
A big right from Biden misses.
Sharp was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharp slips a straight right by Biden.
Biden looks to score with a jab to the body but Sharp is just out of range.
Biden takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sharp misses with a takedown attempt - Biden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Biden looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timothy Sharp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sharp wants to clinch but Biden slips to the side
and Biden counters with a nice uppercut.
Biden sizes up Sharp with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Oh Sharp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sharp doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sharp takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Biden as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Biden lands a big right hand that sends Sharp crashing to the mat! Biden stays standing though and waves Sharp back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sharp looks for a takedown but Biden sprawls well.
Sharp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Biden let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Sharp seems to have got his legs back now.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Biden is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sharp had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Biden lands a big right hand that sends Sharp crashing to the mat! Biden stays standing though and waves Sharp back to his feet!
Sharp misses with a takedown
and Biden counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
