and Stevens counters with a three punch combo that has ZOldick backing up. ZOldick nods at Stevens to acknowledge the strikes.

and Stevens counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#CL2#
ZOldick gets in close and instigates a clinch. #BC#
Stevens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stevens throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent ZOldick stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Stevens counters with a straight right hand.
Nice shot lands for Stevens.

Stevens lunges in with a left hook that violently twists ZOldick head around and knocks him out cold! Stevens hops onto the ropes and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

and ZOldick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
ZOldick wants to stand but Smith is controlling his posture from full guard. #SUB2#
Smith is looking for a triangle but ZOldick pushes his legs off easily.
Smith is adopting a defensive guard.
