Johnson throws a left that rocks Stackhouse and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Johnson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Stackhouse regain composure!
Johnson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Johnson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stackhouse pushes Johnson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Johnson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Stackhouse tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Johnson manages to circle out of the way.

Johnson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Stackhouse can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Johnson and Stackhouse drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Johnson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Johnson!
In his post fight interview, Jack Johnson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |
