The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doggard just misses with a punch to the body.
Doggard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yabite looks for a takedown but Doggard sprawls well.
A jab from Yabite misses.
Yabite tries to clinch but Doggard is having none of it.
Yabite tries a head kick but it misses.
Yabite throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Yabite rushes Doggard and presses him up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doggard lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Yabite escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yabite shoots in for a double leg but Doggard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yabite changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doggard tries to avoid it but Yabite manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doggard to the ground. Doggard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Doggard circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Yabite tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Doggard wins by KO!
