Dilbrandt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dilbrandt swats away the attempt to clinch by Armstrong.
Jacob Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armstrong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dilbrandt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Armstrong somewhat.

Armstrong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up with Ferland, looking for a takedown. Armstrong pushes Ferland against the cage but Ferland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Armstrong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferland sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Ferland releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Ferland is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Armstrong from any more punishment! Armstrong complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
