Well Adonis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smile tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cross manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smile or perhaps it was just good defense by Cross, which made it look bad.
Cross ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smile moves away.
Smile shoots in for a takedown but Cross shows good takedown defense.
Smile tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Cross counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jeremy Cross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Smile.
Smile shoots for a double leg takedown but Cross sprawls well. He's pushed Smile's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL#
