Murphy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vaziri uses from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Vaziri content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Murphy has locked up a guillotine! Murphy's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Vaziri is holding on here and Murphy must be using up a lot of energy. Vaziri has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Murphy gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Vaziri has his feet on Fick's thighs here. He's pushed Fick off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fick screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Vesuri buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vesuri throws a head kick that half lands.

Vaziri doesn't manage to clinch there - Vesuri circles away.

Vesuri has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vaziri to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vesuri is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vaziri pulls down on the head and he's put Vesuri to sleep! This one is all over!

Vaziri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vaziri tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vaziri has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lalime is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lalime throws a jab when Vaziri was well out of range.
Vaziri tries to close the distance and clinch but Lalime swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lalime catches Vaziri with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#CUT#It looks like Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri has been cut.#KD#
Lalime cracks Vaziri with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vaziri looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lalime finish him?

Villabucci works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #SUB#
Villabucci stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Vaziri has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Villabucci manages to get his head free but now Vaziri has transitioned to an armbar! Villabucci grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Vaziri! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
