and Martin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sagan shoots in and drives through. Martin sprawls well.
Sagan tries to clinch but Martin is having none of it.
Sagan moves in looking to clinch but Martin pushes him off.
Martin tries to counter by clinching up but Sagan breaks away and moves out of range.
Sagan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jorge Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Sagan.
Sagan jumps guard but Martin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Sagan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Martin rolls with it to try and escape but Sagan cranks on the arm and Martin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Martin avoids the head kick by Floss.
Alex Floss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin missing with a left hand there. Floss was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Martin looks to land a right hand but Floss moved out of range.

Floss keeps Martin at a distance using the push kick.

Floss is not content to let Martin control the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Alex Floss will probably get the nod.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Floss can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
