Travers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sherkov sprawls well initially but Travers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ramone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sherkov.
That kick from Ramone tenderised Sherkov's leg. Sherkov is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ramone has left one of his arms exposed and Sherkov doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ramone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Keita connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sherkov's hands.
Keita lands with a hook. Sherkov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Keita throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sherkov.
Keita Throws a clean left jab. Keita Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Sherkov's chin! Sherkov crumbles to the ground and Keita follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Keita!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Abdullah Keita!

Yamamoto content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Sherkov has locked up a guillotine! Sherkov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Yamamoto is holding on here and Sherkov must be using up a lot of energy. Yamamoto has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Sherkov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
