The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kool wants the takedown. Da Blood is fighting it off but Kool persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Da Blood 's guard against the cage.
Kool could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kool postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Da Blood covers up, he's hurt! Kool keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kool and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kool can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Da Blood tries for a takedown but Gholizadeh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gholizadeh screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Da Blood has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Murat is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Da Blood .
