Strongman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
It looked like Argento wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Strongman shoots and misses
and Argento counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been hearing reports that Argento has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bloodsport Strongman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Argento steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Strongman is out on his feet! Argento sets himself and nearly takes Strongman's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Island feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
