Vrana bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Tech throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Some wild striking there from Tech.
Tech swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vrana appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Tech falls off balance throwing a combination

and Vrana counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Tech!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tech can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vrana is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tech will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Vrana lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tech down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Vrana's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#SUB#
Vrana is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tech is trying to escape and Vrana transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tech is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vrana! Very nice indeed!

Despite the aggression on Tech's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Hackl fires out a quick counter leg kick but Tech just manages to avoid it.

Hackl shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Macedo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tech sprawls and moves away.
Tech tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Macedo tries to counter with a takedown but Tech is quick to defend against it.
Tech lands a head kick. Macedo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Macedo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Macedo.
Tech wants to get back to his feet but Macedo passes into half guard.

Tech throws a nice outside leg kick.
Tech looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tech lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tech throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee tries to clinch but Tech is having none of it.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Tech.
We've been informed that Lee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tech manages to avoid it.
Tech throws a nice head kick!
A head kick misses from Tech.
Tech throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lee on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tech feints and then cracks Lee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lee down.
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee wants to clinch.
Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tech can pounce on him.
Tech shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lee eats them both and turns towards Tech to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tech will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Weasel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tech on his heels. He'll look to pass Tech's guard now, I'm sure.
Weasel is working Tech over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Weasel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weasel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Weasel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tech has his foot on Weasel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weasel works his way back into a safe position though.

Matrix walks into a stiff left hand from Tech.
Tech thumps Matrix with a low kick.
Matrix shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tech as he jumps to the side.
Good leg kick by Tech.
Matrix closes the distance and clinches up with Tech, looking for a takedown. Matrix pushes Tech against the cage but Tech circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matrix has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tech.
Tech scoring well with a low kick there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that John Matrix will probably get the nod.

Tech steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Matrix's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Matrix just didn't come prepared.

Tech looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Liddell puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
