Demayo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Porter swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Despite the aggression on Porter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Demayo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Porter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Demayo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Demayo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Porter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Demayo pulls down on the head and he's put Porter to sleep! This one is all over!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demayo wants to control but McGee is keeping busy and won't allow it.
McGee is looking to take a break and control but Demayo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McGee is just content to waste time from the top position. Demayo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. #SUB2#
Demayo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McGee should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Demayo has tightened it up now! McGee should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Demayo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shaw sprawls well. Shaw wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Demayo gets slowly back to his feet.
Shaw ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Demayo tries for a takedown but Shaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Demayo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shaw circles away.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Shaw! Demayo is out on his feet! Shaw rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Demayo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Demayo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
