We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shmingles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Luu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Luu tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Luu gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

McGuire cracks Shmingles with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Shmingles tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McGuire pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Shmingles is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Susskind can do anything to dispel that myth.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shmingles in particular looking to stall.
