The crowd cheers as Alvarez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chess doesn't seem phased though.
Alvarez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Chess walks straight into a right hand from Alvarez - that's dropped him! Alvarez jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Chess from any more punishment! Chess complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Chess tries to clinch up but Lauzier pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Chess to the mat! Chess covers up and Lauzier unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
